Fit and last development of our orthopedic shoes
As a manufacturer of orthopedic shoes, we offer a wide range of extremely comfortable models. What is common to all is the particularly comfortable shape of the last, which we develop in-house; different widths depending on the model, and as a special feature an exchangeable soft footbed that can be exchanged for a customized footbed for customers who need an orthopedic shoe and would like to purchase it directly from the manufacturer.
All of our models are available in H-width; some, such as the Good Year shoes and our high-quality women's shoes, are available in 2 different widths, F, for narrow and normal feet, and H + as a comfortable width. Both widths basically have our exchangeable soft footbed, so that a custom-made orthopedic footbed for our orthopedic shoes can be used as an alternative, already projected by us as the manufacturer.
In addition to the comfortable widths, we as the manufacturer of orthopedic shoes provide the lasts with a generous instep size and a well moulded heel shape, resulting in a comfortable yet tight fit. In order to meet our quality standards for orthopedic requirements, we develop the last shapes in-house and consequently implement our experience from 35 years in shoe production. This means that we are one of a very small group of manufacturers who still have their own in-house last development at great expense.
Components for our orthopedic shoes directly from the manufacturer
Our shoes combine different materials in their structure, which are light, flexible and soften the step, such as the exchangeable soft footbed, the real leather insole, the cork filler, the sole shape and material, the heel structure and material. We combine soft and hard materials that, depending on the requirements, relieve or support the foot at certain points. Reinforcements are incorporated in the necessary areas to give the foot additional support. The construction of the components, the shapes and the kinds of lasting support the rolling movement of the foot and reduce the forces acting on the foot bones and joints, so that the foot does not tire and hurt as quickly. Our entire range of models is made exclusively with chrome-free tanned natural leather. This of course applies to the upper leather as well as to the lining leather. The leg is completely lined with soft leather down to the tip of the foot. The orthopedic footbed is covered with a chrome-free tanned calfskin lining. We use real leather insoles for all models. The combination of these materials, like each individual component, has a high water vapor absorption and release capacity, which enables an extremely pleasant foot climate.

We offer our customers a wide range of different models of orthopedic shoes directly from the manufacturer, which are suitable and designed for custom-made orthopedic insoles. In doing so, we combine functionality with the demand for current design, so that our customers do not have to make any compromises on fashion and / or timeless classic shapes that correspond to aesthetic proportions. With the range of different groups and models, we offer our customers the right shoe for every occasion. This applies equally to our classic women's and men's shoes in genuine "Blake" lasting to our Good Year shoes, as well as to our fashionably high-quality sneakers and moccasins, which are available in both women's and men's sizes. For example, the stylish slightly squared last of the Blake group of the article "Success" is extra long so that there is no reduction for the width or the volume. On the contrary, with this group and styles we offer our clients a fashionably elegant men's shoe, available in an extremely comfortable H + width.
