Starting with the conception drawing the style, creating the design, constructing the prototype to the execution of the serial production our goal is to perfect the product in each detail. Each individual component, all the materials used and carefully selected, are designed to reduce weight, increase comfort and improve the foot climate in accordance with our sustainability requirements. That is why we use exclusively our chrome-free tanned natural leather for the upper leathers, as well as for our glove-soft natural calfskin for the linings; genuine leather insoles, real cork bulges; anatomically shaped, removable soft footbeds, which are alos covered with our chrome-free tanned natural calfskin; "Vibram" - lightweight cell soles (vibram.com), reinforced lace holes and waxed cotton laces. Even the heels are designed to be weight-optimized, with shock-absorbing lightweight cellular rubber and a hard-wearing rubber patch. Due to the particularly complex construction, our welted shoes are more durable than all other kind of styles, which is the most sustainable way. Due to the features being described herin, our Good Year welted shoes does not have to be worn in as usual. They feel comfortable and soft as Sneakers from the very beginning on, but stabalize the feet better and of course, providing a far better foot climate. This means that your feet do not tire after a long day at work and not even after additional events after work.
